Flexible working
We offer flexi time arrangements as well as a number of different working arrangements in some areas of the business dependant on the type of post, including job share, part time working and compressed working.

Up to 38 days of annual leave
We offer 22 days annual leave as standard, plus 3 discretionary days to be used over the Christmas shutdown, plus eight statutory Bank Holidays. You shall also receive one additional day for each two years of service with a maximum of 5 days after 10 years service.

Buy and sell annual leave
You can also choose to buy up to five days additional annual leave or sell it back to the Group depending on your preference.

Professional fees
We will pay the fees to the professional body which you need to be a member of as part of your job role.

Child care voucher scheme
You can take part of your salary in childcare vouchers; the value of vouchers you choose to take is tax and NI free. This can save you tax and National Insurance on up to £243 per month, up to £1,195 per year and can be used for all registered providers for children up to the age of 15.

Company sick pay
If you are absent from work due to sickness, you are eligible to receive company sick pay. This is dependant on your length of service and increases to six months at full pay and six months at half pay after five years continuous service.

Simplyhealth cash plan     
Simplyhealth is a company paid scheme which provides a money back plan for dental, optical and specialist consultations. Your Simplyhealth plan can be upgraded for an increased level of cover for you and your family. A confidential telephone and face to face counseling service is available to all policy holders.

Competitive pension scheme and life assurance
We offer a choice of pension schemes for our employees to choose. Harvest Housing Group is a member of the Social Housing Pension Scheme (SHPS).
