A survey distributed to residents of a Crewe neighbourhood resulted in surprise wins for several individuals recently. The survey was sent to all residents of Harvest Housing Group following their annual Residents Conference. It covered a wide range of topics and was designed to enable the Housing Association to continue to improve service delivery.

Residents were asked if they had attended a recent Residents Conference, if they had enjoyed it and what would encourage them to attend in the future. The survey also posed questions relating to their thoughts on the various services and schemes organised by Harvest Housing Group, such as monitoring of repairs, financial information, home insurance and views on any future property plans.

Returned surveys were then entered into a prize draw, with one of the prizes being a signed Manchester City football, which was won by Manchester & District Resident, Sylvia Sanderson. As Sylvia later pointed out, there was only one problem - she is a Manchester United supporter!

Amanda Jones, Neighbourhood Regeneration Officer for M&D, recently presented the Football to Sylvia and although pleased at having won the prize, She decided to pass it to her granddad - an even more grateful Blues fan.

Commenting on the win, Amanda said:

“We are always eager to hear the opinions of our residents with regards to our current services and any ways we can improve or modify them. To show our appreciation to those who completed the survey we organised the prize draw and Manchester City were kind enough to donate a signed football…When we realised that Sylvia was a Manchester United fan we were not sure what to do, but luckily it has gone to a good home!”
