Celebrations will be taking place at Moorlands Housing Association during the month of April, as it will be a year since the Housing Association joined in partnership with Harvest Housing Group - and there is much to celebrate.

Since joining Harvest Housing Group, a positive working relationship has been established between the two parties and many achievements have been witnessed, serving to benefit Moorlands customers. These benefits include:

• A 24 Hour Anti-social Behaviour Line – Offering assistance and advice to residents who feel that their quality of life is being affected by anti-social behaviour.
• A Community Safety case Management Officer.
• Two Neighbourhood Regeneration Officers.
• Access to the ‘My Home’ insurance scheme.
• A Residents Conference – An opportunity for residents to give vital feedback regarding the services and schemes in place in their neighbourhood.
• £3,000 Funding from The Montgomery Awards – An award that was set up in 2005, recognising the exceptional people Harvest Housing Group has living and working in their neighbourhoods.

Over the past year Moorlands have also benefited from being part of an officially recognised Best Company, further to Harvest winning accreditation, and also has better access to The National Affordable Housing Programme through the Plus Harvest Development Partnership.

Commenting on the anniversary, Moorlands Managing Director, Bob Duncalf said:

“Since joining Harvest Housing Group we have worked hard together to develop and achieve many positive objectives. We have been successful in receiving funding for additional development projects. We look forward to the many more benefits our staff and customers will receive as we shape our services to match Harvest’s proven standard”.
