Where: Oakwood Park, Birchwood, Warrington.

What: A community event organised by Frontis, in partnership with the Friends of Oakwood Local Park which will see residents celebrating ‘Good Neighbour Day’.

Oakwood Local Park in Birchwood will play host to a community event with a difference on Saturday 14 June when residents from the area come together to celebrate ‘Good Neighbour Day’.

The event, which is being organised by Frontis, a member of Harvest Housing Group, in partnership with the Friends of Oakwood Local Park, will be a fun-packed day featuring a free Hog Roast, Morris Dancers and family activities.

The theme of the event has been chosen as Robin Hood who is considered as one of the first ‘Good Neighbours’ and a fancy-dress option at the event is open to children attending the event!

Commenting on the event, Neighbourhood Regeneration Officer at Frontis, Bernadette Bell said:
“This event will be a fantastic occasion for people to come together and celebrate what being good neighbours is all about: Treating neighbours with respect, having a sense of community spirit and helping each other”.
