An influential audience is due to gather at the City of Manchester Stadium in November to witness an expert panel debating a range of topical and controversial issues currently affecting the region.

The North West Communities Debate is organised by Harvest Housing Group and will provide an opportunity to discuss issues surrounding the present economic climate, such as; Worklessness, Congestion Charging, Sustainable Regeneration and Business & Personal Finance. Audience members will also be invited and encouraged to join in the ‘Question Time’ style debate.

Radical and thought provoking ideas and opinions will be presented by the panel that will include; Andrew Simpson, Managing Director of Peel Holdings, Jill Burdett, Manchester Evening News Property Editor, Ian Perry, Chief Executive of Harvest Housing Group, Nick Massey, Chief Executive of The Greater Manchester Community Foundation and Ken Knott, Chief Executive of ASK Developments.

Journalist and Award Winning Broadcaster John Stapleton will host the prestigious Harvest Housing Group event that is now firmly established on the North West events’ calendar and attracts an influential audience of key figures from Members of Parliament, local authorities and government agencies to developers, advisors, charities and community groups.

The North West Communities Debate will take place on Friday 14 November 2008 at the City of Manchester Stadium.
