Harvest has a dedicated officer – the Customer & Community Empowerment Co-ordinator - who’s role is to assist customers to develop their skills and build knowledge and capacity. This enables customers to get involved and also to build confidence and learn new skills which in turn could assist in securing employment and lead to other development opportunities.

Where possible, our training courses are delivered within the neighbourhoods locations, in-house by our staff in a Value for Money approach to help us to keep costs down and tailored to suit the customers’ needs. Sometimes we will source external training courses, however there may be a requirement for customers to travel to training venues within the North West.

Harvest cover the cost of all training and will also re-imburse any childcare / carers / travelling expenses in accordance with our policies to enable you to participate.

For further information please contact Lorna Powell, Customer & Community Empowerment Co-ordinator on 0161 248 2383 or email Lorna.powel@harvesthousing.org.uk or see the link below to access a copy of the Customer Training Programme.
