Aids & Adaptations

If you or a member of your household has difficulty with the stairs, getting in or out of the bath, need wheelchair access or has any other special needs we may be able to provide aids or adapt your home to help assist you and enable you to stay in your home.

Aids and adaptations range from minor items such as grab rails, handrails and lever taps to major ones such as stairlifts, showers and ramps.

In some cases we will ask an Occupational Therapist from Social Services to talk to you about the full range of help available and recommend the type of adaptations required. We may also work with the Local Authority to access funding for your adaptation.

Harvest is committed to improving the service we provide to all our disabled customers. Our Adaptations Team act as a central point of contact for all customers and co-ordinate, manage and monitor adaptation requests working closely with our Property Team, neighbourhood staff and Local Authorities to deliver a joined up service to you.
