> Regeneration Company Announces Conference
GM Procure, the not for profit regeneration company and consortia of social housing providers with stock across the North West will be holding their Annual Conference ‘You Make The Difference’ at the City of Manchester Stadium on Thursday 29 January.
The event will be an opportunity for the company and its suppliers, contractors and clients to come together and take both a retrospective look at the key achievements throughout 2008 and to present the business goals for the year ahead.
GM Procure works in partnership with its clients, chosen contractors and suppliers to generate efficiencies and impact the local labour market by working collaboratively to procure construction materials and contractors for their planned maintenance and investment programmes.
Delegates will have the opportunity to attend their choice of seminars at the Conference, including an interactive look at GM Procure Systems, an interactive seminar regarding the 09/10 Programme Delivery, an overview of the most up to date information and industry views on New Build and Code for Sustainable Homes and a look at Community Enterprise and Benefits.
Several SMEs that have benefited from training or assistance from GM Procure will also be present at the Conference and will talk of their positive association with the company. Delegates will also hear about the GM Procure experience from the personal perspective of three parties: a Client/Buyer (Home Group), a Contractor (DLP) and a Supplier (Twyfords).
