We have been meeting you over the last year to discuss and understand what you think value for money is and what it means for us. You have helped us decide how we should deliver value-for-money services and what our priorities should be for doing this.

When looking at value-for-money we need to find the right balance. For example, we could provide a freephone number for you to call us, but the cost for this would mean we have less to invest in your neighbourhood. You told us you would prefer us to keep the LoCall number, which provides a good service, and keep the extra money for other things.

We will continue to work with you to develop services that meet your expectations and provide value-for-money. Now you have told us your expectations, we’ll take these into account in everything we do. In future, when we ask you to help us improve a service, value-for-money will be one of the things we’ll ask you to consider.
We also have a Value for Money Steering Group that monitors value for money across the Group and all the services we provide.

If you have an idea that can help us improve our serivces, save money or provide better value for money why don't you tell us.  Simply email your idea to:  brightideas@harvesthousing.org.uk or download the form to the right.
