Residents Take Part in World’s Biggest Coffee Morning For Macmillan Cancer Support
Manchester & District Housing Association, in Partnership with Avantage Extra Care Developments, took part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Care on Friday 25 September, raising over £200 for the worthy cause.
The campaign saw thousands of people coming together across the country and internationally to hold or attend coffee mornings to raise money for people affected by cancer.
Manchester & District Housing Association (M&D), a member of Harvest Housing Group, used the occasion to not only raise vital funds but to bring together M&D Residents and new Avantage residents living at Beechmere Extra Care Development in Crewe.
Beechmere Extra Care Development is part of Avantage, who are working in partnership with Cheshire County Council to provide 433 high quality apartments in five developments throughout Cheshire.
