The completion of the scheme, which was visited recently by the Rt Hon Margaret Beckett MP, will be celebrated on the site by the unveiling of a plaque which features artwork produced by local school children.
Netherfield is an important project for meeting the acute shortage of social housing in Keswick in the heart of the Lake District National Park.
The scheme provides 40 x 3 bedroom and 2 x 4 bedroom family homes for affordable social rent. The Development comprises 4 property types of 2 and 3 storeys; catering for families of up to 6 people and is the largest development of its type in Keswick for over 20 years.
Residents who have recently moved in to the new Netherfield development will be present at the event, along with representatives of partner organisations, funders and agencies who have supported the scheme to date.
