One of Harvest Housing Group’s sheltered accommodation schemes has an extra spring in its step this September! Spring Brook House in Preston is celebrating its 25th anniversary and it is marking the occasion in style.

Dressing up in their finest attire, residents and staff will celebrate this significant milestone with an elegant tea party on Tuesday 27th September. As well as delicious treats, there will also be musical performances put on by some of the tenants to entertain the guests.

“A lot has changed at Spring Brook House over the past 25 years,” said scheme manager Sandra Evans. “One of the most notable changes is how much more active and sociable the residents are now – they are all so young at heart! Whether surfing the internet or playing on the Nintendo Wii, they are really up to speed with modern technologies. We also have a jam-packed timetable of events and activities throughout the year for the residents, and this stylish tea party is a fitting way for us to celebrate our quarter-of-a-century anniversary!”

Spring Brook House is a sheltered accommodation scheme providing independent living for people aged 55 and over. As well as self-contained flats, the site contains communal areas, including a lounge and garden. For more information about Spring Brook House, please call Sandra Evans on: 01254 390 848.
