> Frontis Support New Birchwood Healthy Family Zone
Birchwood residents are being given the opportunity to have their say on a new Healthy Family Zone that is being proposed for the area.
The ‘Birches Healthy Family Zone’ has been named by pupils at Locking Stumps Community Primary School and will be an outdoor area where families can get together, exercise and relax. The zone is being supported by Frontis, a member of Harvest Housing Group, working in partnership with the primary school, Thomas Risley Church and the Birchwood Partnership.
Two consultation events are being organised in January for local families and residents, enabling them to offer up their opinions on the new zone such as design and the kinds of activities that will eventually be on offer. Plans for the site will also be available to view at these events.
Both consultation events will take place on Monday 30th January. The first will be held at Locking Stumps Community Primary School, Glover Road, Birchwood, Warrington WA3 7PH from 3.30pm to 5pm and the second at Thomas Risley Church, Glover Road, Birchwood, Warrington WA3 7PH from 5pm to 6.30pm.
Birchwood residents can also look at plans for the Birches Healthy Family Zone at the Frontis Neighbourhood Office at 25 Benson Road, Birchwood, Warrington WA3 7PQ, call Bernadette Bell on 01925 856 680 or visit the Harvest Housing Group Website at www.harvesthousing.org.uk/Frontis/recentnewsandevents.
