As part of a neighbourhood management initiative in Bacup, Stacksteads and Britannia, Eaves Brook, a member of Harvest Housing Group will be joining Sure Start to celebrate their opening with a Fun Day on Saturday 9 October at the Maiden Centre 10.30am – 2.00pm.
There will be face painting, kite and card making, a balloon race, plenty of opportunities to win prizes and a chance to get your voice heard and tell the Neighbourhood Management team how you would improve your local area.
The fun day kicks off a week-long list of events to help local people find out about neighbourhood management and the team want to hear what you, the local residents, think will help improve your neighbourhood and how you can help make it happen.
As well as the Fun Day, the team will be at the Stacksteads Riverside Office on Monday 11 October between 10.00am – 4.30pm. You can also visit Bacup Market on Wednesday 13 October 10.00am – 4.30pm to tell the Neighbourhood Management team what you would like to see them doing.
The Neighbourhood Management team are also having an official Office Opening on Wednesday 20 October at their new office, 17 Market Street, Bacup 12.30pm – 2.30pm & 4.30pm – 6.00pm so feel free to drop in and meet the team.
Eaves Brook have been selected by Rossendale BC and Elevate to deliver Neighbourhood Management to your area and will work with groups, businesses and organisations to co-ordinate the work and make the improvements and changes needed.
