Following on from the success of Neighbourhood Management in Church and West Accrington, a second office is being opened on Monday by the Mayor of Hyndburn, Miles Parkinson, at the Civic Hall, Arthur Street, Clayton-le-Moors.

Eaves Brook, a member of Harvest Housing Group, is delivering Neighbourhood Management across East Lancashire and has teamed up with Hyndburn Borough Council to deliver the initiative in this area.

Neighbourhood Management aims to communicate directly with local residents to find out your views and opinions about the area, to answer any concerns or issues you may have and to listen to your suggestions about how the local area could be improved.

There has been a positive response to the India Street office, which serves the Church and West Accrington areas and the Neighbourhood Management team are delighted to be expanding into Clayton-le-Moors.

Neighbourhood Manager Abi Winstanley explains:

“This is a great way to really engage with the community and involve them in what’s happening in the local area. It’s so often the case that residents don’t know where to go if they have a problem or issue, whereas now they can come to us directly and speak to our committed staff.”

The new office will be officially opened on Monday 10am after which it will be open Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm (closed 1.00pm – 2.00pm)

It is located at the Civic Hall Basement, Arthur St, Clayton le Moors. The office for Church and West Accrington is at 18 India St, Church.
