> MP Gets Hands Dirty for Trafford
Manchester & District Housing Association, a member of Harvest Housing Group, are holding a Clean-Up Day in Trafford on Tuesday 29th March.
Beginning at 10.00am at the Shrewsbury Street Community Centre, local residents and volunteers will take to the streets of Trafford to create a cleaner, tidier place for the whole community.
They will be joined at 12 noon by Bev Hughes MP, who will herself take the hands-on approach and join with local people to clean up the area.
They will then head back to the Community Centre at 1.00pm for a well-deserved lunch, provided by M & D.
Agencies working with Manchester & District to make improvements to the area are ACE Women’s Group, Trafford Housing Trust, Groundwork, Old Trafford Football Academy, Regenerate, GMPA and Neighbourhood Wardens.
