Harvest Housing Group are continuing to clamp down on perpetrators of antisocial behaviour in their neighbourhoods, and are currently taking legal action against a tenant of their subsidiary, Partington Housing Association.

Catherine Knight of Oak Road, Partington, was served an interim antisocial behaviour injunction by Harvest Housing Group on 25 April, following her use of foul and abusive behaviour and making threats to kill other Partington residents.

At a return hearing the defendant contested the allegations, so Harvest Housing Group have scheduled an additional hearing to apply for a full injunction.

Cathy Bennett, Community Safety Manager at Harvest Housing Group comments:

“We will not tolerate antisocial behaviour of any kind in our neighbourhoods. All our residents have the right to peace and security in their homes and we will do everything in our power to have the injunction granted.”

The court hearing is likely to take place next month although dates are still to be confirmed.

The terms of the interim injunction include that Catherine Knight is not to cause a nuisance or annoyance in the neighbourhood and must not use or threaten to use violence.
