> Take your place with Wolfie at the Christmas Fair!
Local housing association Frontis, and Oakwood Neighbourhood Association, are inviting anyone wishing to take a stall at the Birchwood Christmas Fair to get in touch, just like Warrington Wolves mascot Wolfie who has already confirmed he’ll be putting in an appearance.
Stalls will cost £5 and all items are welcome, including handcrafted gifts, home made cakes, jams etc, and traditional white elephant goods.
Bernadette Bell, Neighbourhood Regeneration Officer at Frontis, said:
“It may seem a bit early to be thinking about Christmas but these events take a lot of organisation and we don’t want anyone to be disappointed.”
Early bird Wolfie was quick to sign up for the festivities and will be there to open the event, delighting children and Wolves’ fans alike.
Frontis is also collecting prizes for the tombola and raffle if anyone has anything they can donate.
The Fair, which is being organised by Frontis, Oakwood Neighbourhood Association and Birchwood Town Council, will be held on Saturday 2 December between 11.30am – 2.30pm, at Birchwood Church of England school on Admirals Road.
Anyone interested in taking a stall or wanting any further information should contact Bernadette Bell at Frontis on 01925 856 680.
