14-Miles of Philanthropy for Children in Need!

Grove Village, a member of Harvest Housing Group, brought new meaning to the phrase, ‘Going The Extra Mile’ after completing a 14-mile sponsored walk, whilst in fancy dress costumes, in aid of Children in Need on Friday, 17 November.

The journey, which took the team close to 4 hours, began at the Grove Village office located in Ardwick and then on to Harvest Housing Group head office at Apex House in Levenshulme.  The costume-clad travellers continued onwards to the Manchester & District Housing Association office in Stockport, and then finally back to Grove Village!

Grove Village Estate Officer, Jane Hawthorne commented,
“We were just so thrilled at how eager everyone was to get involved with fundraising for Children in Need.  The trek might have been a challenge, but we achieved our goal in high spirits!”
