Staff at Harvest Housing Group have done it again! The Group’s legendary annual Charity Quiz Night has raised almost £6,000 so far and they’re still counting!
Over the past 11 years Harvest Housing Group are proud to have raised over £31,000 for numerous charities across the North West. Charities such as Hospice @ Home and Sailing for the Disabled in Cumbria, Safe Anchor in Huddersfield and Derian House in Chorley have all benefited from the Group’s donations in the past and this year the money will help Guide Dogs for the Blind and Manchester-based Christies Hospital.
Lynda Murawski, Head of Marketing at Harvest Housing Group said:
“There are so many wonderful causes and we try and to support as many as possible, particularly in areas we operate. Very often we come across tenants who are aided by these charities and it’s important we do our bit to help.”
Raffle prizes on the night included £100 Marks & Spencer vouchers, 2 guest passes for 5 days at Mollington Health & Leisure Club, a Nokia 1600 mobile, a DVD player, an ipod nano and an X-Box. Among items that were auctioned off in a silent bid were a Chelsea football shirt, a snooker cue signed by Ronnie O’Sullivan, Ding Junhui and Graham Dott, and 2 tickets to see a future England game at the new Wembley Stadium.
Lynda Murawski adds:
“We’d like to thank all the companies who so generously donated prizes. They’ve helped us raise a fantastic amount for two very worthwhile causes who will put the funds to much needed use.”
