Harvest Housing Group has been raising money for charity again, this time by holding a ‘Go Yellow’ day for Manchester-based St Ann’s Hospice.

Staff of the Group, across the whole of the North West donated a pound to wear yellow for the day, all the proceeds of which went to the charity, and staff at the organisation’s head office in Levenshulme also celebrated with ‘Tea at 3’ in the board room, which was adorned with all things yellow including yellow balloons, and yellow cakes for everyone to enjoy, which many of the staff had worked hard to prepare.

In addition all the Harvest Housing Group offices in Manchester, Warrington, East Lancashire and Cumbria sold charity badges and key rings, raising a total of £250.55 for St Ann’s Hospice, who care for over 3,000 people facing life-threatening illnesses across Greater Manchester.

This isn’t the first time that Harvest Housing Group has done its bit for charity. In November they raised funds for the Breast Cancer Campaign by wearing pink for the day (even the boys!) and other charities they have recently supported include Sailing for the Disabled and Hospice at Home in Cumbria, Safe Anchor in West Yorkshire and Derian House, a children’s hospice in Chorley.
