Manchester & District Housing Association, a member of Harvest Housing Group are one of the partners of this year’s Champion of Champions gardening competition held by Tameside MBC.
Manchester & District Housing Association will hold an initial round, from which first-prize winners will be entered into the borough-wide gardening competition held by the council.
Diane Russell, Neighbourhood Regeneration Officer for Manchester & District, who is leading on the project said:
“Being part of this initiative across Tameside, encourages our residents to nurture their gardens and patios, which along with our free garden tool hire scheme helps them to improve their environment and work towards creating a pleasant neighbourhood where people want to live and choose to stay.”
