It often doesn’t take long for summer holiday boredom to set in but stressed parents needn’t worry as youngsters in Birchwood aged between 6 – 12 years are being offered a variety of sporting activities to keep them entertained and active throughout the holiday period.
Local housing association Frontis have enlisted the help of the Warrington Wolves Foundation, Birchwood Town Council and The Environment Partnership to deliver tag-rugby, box-fit, football, rounders, netball and healthy eating free of charge to young people in the area.
The activities will run for 5 weeks from Monday 30 July and anyone who attends for a full week will receive a free ticket for a Warrington Wolves match.
All activities will take place at Birchwood High School, Brock Road, Birchwood and youngsters can attend for a day, a week or five full weeks – whatever they want!
