The Hyndburn Neighbourhood Management team in partnership with Lancashire County Council and Elevate will welcome local residents into the back yard of their Eaves Brook property at 18 India Street, to see the external improvements made to showcase what can be done with the space to the rear of similar sized homes and how they can be maintained.

Paul Stanners from Hyndburn Neighbourhood Management said:

“The garden will add to the service we provide to residents in future. When they call in for a chat or for some information, the option is there for them to sit in the garden – weather permitting!

Hopefully it will also inspire them to make the most of their own back yard, and have their own outdoor haven at home.”

At the open day, Hyndburn Neighbourhood Management, Lancashire County Council and Elevate will be giving away goodie bags containing vegetables needed to produce a traditional Lancashire Hotpot, vegetables which will in future be grown in the garden.
