Home Page > My Harvest > Getting Involved > The Communications Panel
The ‘Communications Panel’ has been set up to give residents the opportunity to work with us to advise on projects in terms of their appeal and clarity. This will be done through a variety of different communication methods including email, mail, verbal & hard copies.

Residents will have the opportunity to comment on the following projects in terms of appeal, content and clarity. These will included:-

• The LINK (Tenants, leaseholders and ad hoc)
• Gazeteer
• Reproduction and new leaflets ( standard and ad hoc)
• Surveys
• Website
• Handbook (Tenants/Homeowners)
• Events (Residents Conference, Montgomery awards)
• Special projects (Stock transfers, HMRF- Housing Market Renewal Fund, publicity and handout campaign)

We will be aiming to get as many tenants on board as possible so that we can consult them on a rotated basis. Initially you will form part of our core panel and work on both standard items like the Link and Annual Report alongside ad hoc leaflets and other literature. We would then look to move some people from this core group into more specific groups as detailed below.

Structure

Initial applicants would form the Core Panel. As it develops the Core Panel would have two main elements of its work: to look at the content style etc of each Link and to look at strategic/policy /development issues around communications. Moving forward we would then look to form the other Panels and move some people, depending on your areas of interest, skills and progress, into to other groups e.g. Reading Panel, Project Panel, Rapid Response Panel.

• The Reading Panel would be used to simply look at lengthily text for leaflets, surveys, handbooks, etc.
• The Project Panel would look at key annual projects including; Annual Report, Website, etc.
• The Rapid Response Panel would be formed to cope with quick turn around material, e.g. ad hoc leaflets, etc.

If residents (both tenants and leaseholders) would be interested in taking part in the communications panel please complete the form below or alternatively, please contact Anita Patel on 0161 248 2308.
