What we did… Northside Community Centre
• Converted an old Co-op building into the new Northside Community Centre which provides several spacious facilities including a large hall, small hall, an interview room, ITC training suite, a room for agencies to work from, a crèche facility and a gym.

What we did… Project Asia
• Project Asia is a web based portal under the domain name www.i4Cumbria.co.uk. It provides a single point access to online services, information and advice. The project will provide computers and training in the community for those who have no computer knowledge or experience by placing computers in key community locations.

Debt Rescue & MoneyAdvice (DRAMA)
• DRAMA (Debt Rescue & Money Advice) is an exciting new project providing affordable loans to people on low incomes to reduce financial exclusion, via six credit union partners across Cumbria. The project is expected to deliver over £400,000 worth of affordable loans within an initial 12 month period.

1) You said... please help us tidy up our communal garden area.
What we did…
• We obtained funding from the Environment Agency to create hanging baskets and tubs and provided a bench for residents to sit and enjoy the finished results
• free garden tool hire scheme.
2) You said... we would like more activities at our sheltered housing scheme.
What we did…
• We got funding from Manchester PCT to run falls prevention exercise classes at Egerton Court and West Point Lodge for a 3rd year
• obtained funding from Tameside Sports Development and Stockport Impact (PCT) for falls prevention classes at Ogden Court and Oakleigh.

What we did…
• Worked with Tameside Community Safety Unit to erect an alley gate across an alleyway were youths were congregating

• We obtained £95K from the European Regional Fund (ERDF) for a wildlife trail along the Redbrook river
• together with the Children's society, designed picture boards for our flats project - to cover graffiti, vandalism whilst they await works, etc
